We Install electronic Brake Controllers to work on most cars and trucks to operate electric brakes for a trailer.

We use the Tekonsha Brake controller Model #9040. It has a 3 year limited warranty and has worked well for us. It list for $96.48. We also install this unit for $55.00 labor on most cars or trucks.
Most quick connect light Kits for trucks are $19.95. If you brake lights and turn signals are not on the same bulb, you will need an adapter and this part cost $23.65. On cars standard installation on wiring lights is $19.50. This will give a flat 4 way connector for your trailer hook-up. If you need 6way or 7 way hook up, no problem. 6 way truck end is $9.50, and a 7 way truck end is $9.00. You will also need a mounting bracket of a cost of $3.50.
